UI has unformal in scroll down after touch
Its struggling to play 4K videos on an iPad Pro.
Is good the app it really is but .mkv doesnt sound.. Other formats seems to be ok
This app is good, not the best as Ive seen better designed apps, But the only thing that would make me stick to this app is the "chromecast" feature, Please provide this as soon as possible. Thank You.
I use VLC on my Mac, but only rare backup on other OS. I was looking for a good app to stream from my I house media server. Kodi is not in the store and pled requires purchases, accounts and other junk that I have no interest in, but this goes right to my server and gets me movies...not as eloquent as Jodi on my media pc but it does exactly what I need.
I exported a video from iMovie, hoping to play it on a loop on my iPad, but alas, when I play a .mp4 file, I get sound, but no picture. I converted the file to .m4v... Still no luck. Basically, this app is broken for me.
I dont know why but i cant open my subtitle in the movie
The app does many things right. There are a few bugs, but nothing major. I wish it could stream from the cloud, e.g., Dropbox.
When viewing files and folders in drive, files and folders show up at least 7 times each, and files that have been deleted from drive also show up, I cant browse my google drive because of this
Great app and I love it but I find myself using INFUSE more because I am not able to play MKV files. One of the most popular formats in video. Please add functionality. Thanks.
Please fix AC3, sound is not working. But player is awesome!))
Keep up with the crowd IOS 7 is so ancient who would use something that does not ENCRYPT your iPhone or iPad so you can keep your movies private Other than that its ok Doesnt support some CODECS But those are from torrent downloads so have to use some other app on my other Apple devices to redo it in .mp4
Video lan is a non-profit organization that produces this free and open source player (amongst other software like libraries for media playback that other applications use) VLC plays just about any media format unlike the built in player that Apple ships with iOS.
VLC mobile app does everything it says it does and more, plus it does it reliably with a clean, easy-to-navigate interface. If youre looking for a Swiss Army knife for playing various video formats, this is one you should should seriously consider.
I love VLC on any platform.
Great app. Very polished. Stable, and reliable. VLC should be the default player on every iPhone and iPad. My only minor complaint is that Dolby Pro Logic II isnt included. I realize that comes down to issues of "pro" paid apps vs "free" apps. However, for videos and movies, I find that the latest version of Dolby Pro Logic II does an amazing job of taking any stereo recording, and simulate surround sound. It isnt quite 5.1 Dolby Digital, but it is pretty close. Sadly, that requires a paid license, or someone needs to design a alternative that does the same thing but is free. Other than that, this is a great essential on every iOS device.
App freezes when starting up. Video files are multiplied in folders making it impossible to browse all of your content.
It seems to now correctly log onto a Windows machine through SMB and show the available files to stream. However, when I try to stream recorded TV in the WTV format, it puts up an error message about not understanding the AC3 audio encoding, and then plays the video without sound. Please fix this at your earliest convenience.
Thanks for fixing the AirPlay issues introduced by iOS 9.3, 9.3.1
