VLC for Mobile App Reviews

Simply doesnt work on iphone 7. Freezes at home menu. Phone gets hot. Probably some network thing.

Sees my servers amber/cifs shares and DLNA! Plays m4v and MLB. Minor bugs so far.

Which is what I need. My .wma file is stored on OneDrive and this app allows direct connection to it. No need to send myself the file locally first. I tried other free apps and couldnt even get to the point of even accessing the file to open it. Very convoluted. Now THIS app is perfect.

I get a popup message saying that it can not decode A52 audio (aka AC3). Ive check app version and is the latest 2.7.7. My iPad iOS version is 9.3.1

Please, add subtitles (*.srt files) support, when playing over local network share, samba share for example. At the moment, any srt files are ignored.

Even if youve written about the update for codec a52, it doesnt work!!!! and I cant watch many videos. This is a big problem for this app.

This is the best app right now for playing any type of video. It supports .mkv and full HD 1080p videos too. But my only complaint is that it doesnt play AC3 and DTS audios like other few players. The app would be the best of these two features were added, otherwise

I cant believe the licensing troubles that are placed on great third party apps like VLC. Good to see that something worked out, sad that customers are jailed inside Apples garden.
